INTRODUCTION
For over 12 years, Arma 3 has been a major platform for mod developers and content creators, and over 160,000 mods have been uploaded to the Steam Workshop. This could be a daunting amount for our new recruits to search through - so to help, we released a series of blogposts detailing mods that we believe greatly enhance and expand the Arma 3 sandbox for limitless hours of immersive milsim action.
Written for both new and veteran players alike, these blogposts showcased not only mods that you have heard of and have used, but perhaps some hidden gems that will give you some new content to try out. This series started in April of 2024 and was expanded upon with thematic follow-up articles focusing on weapon, equipment, aircraft, land vehicle, boats and ship, faction, terrain, gameplay, and total conversion mods.
Now, to complement this Arma 3 Modding blogpost series, we are releasing some more featuring some of the best community-made scenarios and game modes. This first of these three new articles is all about community-made single-player scenarios!
This list isn't exhaustive nor comprehensive, and we may very well have missed a favorite scenario of yours. Even still, what has been curated here will add an exceptional variety of single-player experiences for you to enjoy.
BLACKFOX SCENARIOS
With a staggering 67 missions to play, the BlackFox Scenarios Collection by BlackFox is one of the most comprehensive and varied series of high quality community-made single-player scenarios available on the Arma 3 Steam Workshop! This collection can also be browsed thematically, with sub-collections focusing on armored, aviation, infantry, and special operations scenarios. There are also sub-collections for scenarios designed for Arma 3 Creator DLC: S.O.G. Prairie Fire and Arma 3 Creator DLC: Spearhead 1944 for those looking for a historical fix.
There is truly something for every Arma player in this collection of scenarios, and we recommend browsing through and trying out any that peak your interest. Each mission is also playable in co-operative mode (with varying numbers of player slots per mission), with some using procedurally generated objectives for replayability. You can also check the mission's description for an estimated length to complete.

CHRIS P. BACON SCENARIOS
Chris P. Bacon also has a fairly sizable collection of single-player scenarios for you to enjoy. These 35 scenarios are smaller scale, more intimate special operations missions, with some featuring Community Upgrade Project (CUP) and Arma 3 Aegis units and assets, as well as a wide variety of community-made terrains. Some of the scenarios are playable in co-operative mode with your friends, and will denote the number of player slots in their descriptions.

CALLSIGN MINATOUR
Callsign Minotaur is a fully voiced, story-driven CSAT mini-campaign, taking place shortly after the official Prologue campaign. You are Sgt. Omid Nazari, stationed on Altis, and part of a tank crew manning the modern BTR-K Kamysh infantry fighting vehicle. You will find yourself set up against the FIA, which keeps growing in strength again since the botched peace talks in Kavala sparked new unrest on the tiny island republic. With the Altis Armed Forces being unable to handle the situation on their own, and the relationship with NATO slowly decaying, new cooperation opportunities open up for CSAT...
This campaign was designed by Lexx, founder of Rotators Collective and Project Lead on Arma 3 Creator DLC: Western Sahara and Arma 3 Creator DLC: Reaction Forces. We recommend checking out Lexx's other masterpiece Arma 3 Dunes, as well as Last Ditch, the follow-up standalone scenario to Callsign Minotaur.

DELIVERANCE
Deliverance by Václav Kerber (SgS_Sarge) was awarded third place in the Single-Player Game Mode category of the Make Arma Not War 2015 competition.
Deliverance is a story-based single-player campaign that demonstrates how far racial discrimination and hate can escalate. The player experiences the problems and motivations of both sides of the story by playing first as a conflicted soldier in Part I and as an oppressed revolutionary in Part II. Deliverance features voice acting, custom sounds and textures, an original score, and a movie-like atmosphere showcasing a narrative with detailed characters and unexpected twists and turns.

HELICOPTER PILOT SERIES
Are you an aspiring aviator looking to develop your helicopter pilot skills, or a veteran looking to hone them? RobJ has you covered with this excellent series of single-player scenarios.
Each time you play one of these missions, your task and area of operations is randomly generated. There are options to choose from in terms of weather and time of day, as well as the level of hostility you want to face when flying in enemy territory.

- Provide Close Air Support
- Insertion of units
- Extract units under fire
- Search and Rescue
- Deploy divers at sea
- Evacuate refugees

There are six different scenarios within the Helicopter Pilot Series Steam Workshop collection, with each one focusing on a different helicopter. The Pilot Civillian Air Rescue On Missions scenario was entered in the Make Arma Not War 2015 competition, and won the Heath Care in Danger Special Award. Instead of flying combat operations in this scenario, you instead perform humanitarian actions like inserting doctors, extracting lost people, help with road traffic collisions, Medivac gunshot victims, and pick up hurt civilians.

PILGRIMAGE
Pilgrimage by Rydygier was awarded second place in the Single-Player Game Mode category of the Make Arma Not War 2015 competition.
Alex, a freelance PMC employee, searches for his brother's body on Altis. His brother had died trying to find something dangerous that their father had hidden years ago. The Altian Civil War has led to bloody chaos with numerous bands of mercenaries and marauders terrorizing the island with their struggle for power. Alex must navigate this violence to find the body of his brother.
This semi-randomized, procedural, and customizable mission is available here on the Arma 3 Steam Workshop.
RED MOON
Are you looking for an unforgettably cinematic experience? Look no further than Red Moon by ThomaHawk. Featuring an original, alternate timeline narrative using story elements and characters from Arma 3's 2035 Futura setting as a basis, Red Moon has you participating in a desperate and bloody last ditch siege of Kavala after CSAT has detonated a nuclear device on the southern half of Altis. With a series of spectacular, action packed set pieces, a detailed and expanded war-torn Kavala city-scape, and highly immersive atmosphere, Red Moon is also available to play fully translated in English, French, German, Russian, and Chinese.

RESIST
RESIST was the winner of Make Arma Not War 2015's Single-player Game Mode category!
This single-player campaign follows Cpl. Michael Coleridge as he and a small group of NATO survivors confront the combined might of theAltis Armed Forces and their CSAT allies. This narrative runs parallel with the SURVIVE portion of Arma 3’s The East Wind campaign. RESIST features professional voice actors, original music, custom sound effects, innovative cutscenes, and many other custom assets.
The campaign was written and designed by Scott Alsworth (Kydoimos), who went on to work for Bohemia Interactive as a Narrative Designer for close to a decade, making invaluable contributions to Arma 3, Arma 3 Contact, the Arma 3 Laws of War DLC, and Arma Reforger.

CONCLUSION
As we said in this article's introduction, this isn't an exhaustive or comprehensive list, and we may very well have missed a favorite scenario of yours. Even still, what has been curated here - 111 scenarios and two mini-campaigns - will add an exceptional variety of single-player experiences for you to enjoy in Arma 3.
