With the death of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8, there has been a general outpouring of tributes across the internet. We even have members of the Arma community, such as WilsonTheIrish, creating Arma 3 artwork in memoriam of the late Queen.


Arma Community Veteran Leopard20 has released a small modification that stops player characters from entering a freefall animation if they are over 100 meters off the ground. This mod is great for scenarios that use custom floating compositions! You can get the mod and try it for yourself on the Steam Workshop here.

A new update to the Japan 2035 Mod has been released! The update brings a number of fixes, new pieces of gear, new map markers, and new vehicles (mostly drones). You can view a full changelog here, and download the mod from Steam Workshop here.

Winter is coming... and the Turkish Mod Team is prepared with some new winter vehicle variations in their Turkish Forces mod - available on the Steam Workshop here.

Vestarr has recently shown a work-in-progress screenshot from the cockpit of a new F-16 Block 50 mod coming soon to Arma 3. Make sure to follow Vestarr on Twitter to keep up to date on the project!


The Antistasi team recently hosted a community Second World War event. An Altian platoon attached to British forces in North Africa had to push to an outpost through German positions and trench lines, recapture them, and rescue British POWs that were being held there. CSLA Studio has recently updated their free Steam Workshop companion piece to their Arma 3 Creator DLC: CSLA Iron Curtain. Not only does CSLA Operations include a number of single-player and multi-player scenarios, but it now also includes a new terrain called Polanek. Popular community game mode WARMACHINE has received a new version for Swurvin's recently released community terrain Al Salman 2.0. You can see the WARMACHINE scenario collection on Steam Workshop here.
